In the 5th minute, Arsenio Soter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 9 minutes, Augusto Jerardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Southern Oilers Athletic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Jerardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Filomeno Cordaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcos Abaunza during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Southern Oilers Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Abaunza to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Cordaro in the 19th minute of play forced Southern Oilers Athletic's goalkeeper Constantino Tano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantino Tano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Soter in the 21st minute of the match. After 23 played minutes, Pujol's Adolfo Orlandus shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Constantino Tano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pujol reached it. In the 24th minute, Filomeno Cordaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Jerardo in the 28th minute of play forced Pujol's goalkeeper Atilano Guillelmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Pujol's goalkeeper Atilano Guillelmo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roque Dalmu. Pujol's Atilano Guillelmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Jerardo in the 37th minute of play. Augusto Jerardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Atilano Guillelmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Jerardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Pujol's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Jerardo came free, but Atilano Guillelmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Augusto Jerardo came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Southern Oilers Athletic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Jerardo couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto Jerardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Claudio Jakes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Augusto Jerardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Southern Oilers Athletic's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Jerardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilano Guillelmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute Roque Dalmu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Guillelmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Matias Janpier fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pujol's protests and gave Matias Janpier a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes Pujol got a freekick which was hit by Matias Janpier. Roque Dalmu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th match minute, Pujol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Illan to maneuver through the defense. If Filomeno Cordaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Southern Oilers Athletic's Augusto Jerardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atilano Guillelmo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th match minute, Pujol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Janpier to maneuver through the defense. Augusto Jerardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roque Dalmu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atilano Guillelmo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Augusto Jerardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Guillelmo having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Southern Oilers Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Cordaro came free, but Constantino Tano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
