Esteve Balesio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 17 played minutes, Pauleta FC's Norberto Ellande shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Feliberto Elixio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pauleta FC reached it. Pauleta FC's German Hug got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27thth minute of the game Esteve Balesio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estudiantes Bs As's Feliberto Elixio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute Esteve Balesio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Elixio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. German Hug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Norberto Ellande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliberto Elixio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esteve Balesio in the 35th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Esteve Balesio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pauleta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteve Balesio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Donato Bortzaioriz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estudiantes Bs As's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pauleta FC the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Estudiantes Bs As was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Bortzaioriz to maneuver through the defense. Estudiantes Bs As's Feliberto Elixio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Balesio in the 44th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pauleta FC's Siro Katia got a free kick in the 45th minute. Feliberto Elixio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Katia, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Esteve Balesio to strike the kick off in the second half. Pauleta FC's Esteve Balesio got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 55 minutes, Esteve Balesio made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Estudiantes Bs As's Feliberto Elixio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Feliberto Elixio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Hug in the 58th minute of play. Alfredo Donatello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norberto Ellande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Feliberto Elixio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Estudiantes Bs As's Feliberto Elixio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Balesio in the 84th minute of play. Melchor Franco didn't quite understand what happened when in the 93 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Norberto Ellande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Pauleta FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
