Jeremias Bernat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leopoldo Olivar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Vela, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Inocencio Vela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Olivar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Morrison FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Frans to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the game, Morrison FC's Marcos Lauaxeta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octavio Felipo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Morrison FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Olivar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Frans in the 22nd minute of play forced Intiyaco's goalkeeper Octavio Felipo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inocencio Vela might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo Olivar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inocencio Vela ran back to his position shaking his head. If Marcos Lauaxeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leopoldo Olivar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Vela in the 29th minute of play. Leopoldo Olivar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Inocencio Vela's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Vela in the 46th minute of play forced Morrison FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Olivar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeremias Bernat made a kick off. If Arsenio Frans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Inocencio Vela notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Morrison FC's Leopoldo Olivar. Leopoldo Olivar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jeremias Bernat was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. Intiyaco's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Inocencio Vela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Intiyaco defense, Marcos Lauaxeta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavio Felipo. The Intiyaco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavio Felipo should have stopped the shot. Jeremias Bernat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Olivar having to interfere. Leopoldo Olivar was a little too slow when Jeremias Bernat got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 2-2. In the 80thth minute of the game Marcos Lauaxeta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Intiyaco's Octavio Felipo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 82nd play minutes Marcos Lauaxeta shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Octavio Felipo and just under the crossbar into goal. Octavio Felipo came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Morrison FC's Arsenio Frans. But to his dismay, Arsenio Frans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Bernat in the 92nd minute of play forced Morrison FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Olivar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Intiyaco's Inocencio Vela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leopoldo Olivar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. Intiyaco's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
