Spectators: 7406 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Omar Batistuta started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Achirense FC's Lucio Patrido got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute, Honorio Harkaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Achirense FC's Jonathan Olentzaro got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillermo Egun during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Guillermo Egun kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Omar Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Transito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Batistuta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Transito having to interfere. Honorio Harkaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Lázaro Transito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lázaro Transito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Batistuta in the 33rd minute of play forced Achirense FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Transito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Salvador Gerazan came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Achirense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Gerazan couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute Orlando Txatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Koldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Calchaqui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Medina to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Achirense FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Orlando Txatxu hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Orlando Txatxu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Orlando Txatxu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Koldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 66th minute, Guillermo Egun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Achirense FC's Tomas Ramirez got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Dante Koldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Txatxu in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Harkaitz in the 80th minute of play forced Achirense FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Transito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orlando Txatxu hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Cristo Bikendi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calchaqui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristo Bikendi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Calchaqui's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Olentzaro came free, but Dante Koldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orlando Txatxu took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Koldo. Dante Koldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Calchaqui players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
