Moises Jakes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Moises Jakes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodosio Lopes went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, C.S.D. y C. El Progreso's Danilo Gaur got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 23 minutes, Paolo Playo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.S.D. y C. El Progreso and the Zuviria players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paolo Playo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. C.S.D. y C. El Progreso's Virgilio Bihar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Kinsen in the 31st minute of play. Zuviria's Moises Jakes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Tanio in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zuviria's goalkeeper Moises Jakes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Donato Herensuge's late challenge caught a C.S.D. y C. El Progreso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Teodosio Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the C.S.D. y C. El Progreso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodosio Lopes couldn't finish the play. Teodosio Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 68th minute, Rigoberto Tanio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 played minutes, Zuviria's Isaac Dolfos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Virgilio Bihar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zuviria reached it. 71 minutes into the game, Zuviria's Jeronimo Fidensio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Virgilio Bihar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in Zuviria's zone, Teodosio Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moises Jakes came out of the goal and Teodosio Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teodosio Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Edelmiro Kinsen came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Zuviria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edelmiro Kinsen couldn't finish the play. After 82 played minutes, Zuviria's Isaac Dolfos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Virgilio Bihar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. El Progreso's Angelino Maidana got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the match was over C.S.D. y C. El Progreso could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Zuviria throughout the match.
