Spectators: 6654 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) Darwin F.C's Emanuel Berto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the match Albano Sotil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardo Rodriguez skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Bazkoare got free with Bernardo Rodriguez in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Carmelo Blai came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Urizar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmelo Blai couldn't finish the play. Alfonso Urko's late challenge caught a Darwin F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso Urko helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Urizar's Alfonso Urko got a free kick in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Urizar's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Berto came free, but Elpidio Mannuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natalio Inocente struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Elpidio Mannuel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Darwin F.C. In the 29th minute, Efrain Ortle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Berto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Natalio Inocente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elpidio Mannuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Berto in the 35th minute of play. Bernardo Rodriguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Blai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Darwin F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Carmelo Blai made the kick off in the second half. Elpidio Mannuel was a little too slow when Natalio Inocente got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 66th minute, Natalio Inocente made a precise shot to the right of Elpidio Mannuel. Urizar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. When Darwin F.C's Emanuel Berto in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Urizar's goalie prevented a goal. In the 72nd minute, Guillermo Lando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elpidio Mannuel stood somewhat misplaced when Emanuel Berto came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 81 minute. Emanuel Berto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Elpidio Mannuel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elpidio Mannuel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Berto's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Efrain Ortle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Urizar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Darwin F.C the free kick. In the 92nd minute, Efrain Ortle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Berto in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elpidio Mannuel prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
