MilTinchi's supporters rose to their feet, but Benito Aguilera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Ralondo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Aguilera in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rodolfo Ralondo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 10th minute Marcelo Foro collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Guillelme during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Raimundo Guillelme kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Benito Aguileras short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Rodolfo Ralondo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Formosa FC's Raimundo Guillelme got a free kick in the 15th minute. Formosa FC's Rodolfo Ralondo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Formosa FC from getting a goal against them. When Benito Aguilera came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the MilTinchi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benito Aguilera couldn't finish the play. Gervasio Neron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alejandro Quinten charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejandro Quinten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alejandro Quinten hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Tadeo Fraco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Rodolfo Ralondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Aguilera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Formosa FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Ralondo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benito Aguilera. Rodolfo Ralondo made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Benito Aguilera sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Iraitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Formosa FC's zone, Benito Aguilera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Ralondo came out of the goal and Benito Aguilera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Formosa FC's Rodolfo Ralondo got control of the ball when Gervasio Neron tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Emilio Raymon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Formosa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MilTinchi the free kick. After 44 played minutes Formosa FC got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Raymon. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Federico Chinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Formosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Aguilera came free, but Rodolfo Ralondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Formosa FC defense, Benito Aguilera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Ralondo. The Formosa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Ralondo should have stopped the shot. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Formosa FC! After a rather tough play, Formosa FC's Raimundo Guillelme got a free kick in the 85th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benito Aguilera in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Ralondo saved Formosa FC from getting behind. Benito Aguilera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MilTinchi's Benito Aguilera got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodolfo Ralondo came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by MilTinchi's Jonathan Iraitz. But to his dismay, Jonathan Iraitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. MilTinchi walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
