Angelo Odol acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 9th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eloy Hug. 15 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's Lucas Eleder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelo Odol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Silvio Pes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alhuampa's Moises Matthew pulled a muscle in his leg after 27 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 27 played minutes Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Francis. Javier Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Eduardo Txindoki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artemio Ramos hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. If Javier Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 43 minutes into the game, Flavio Firmo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Angelo Odol. Flavio Firmo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Javier Torres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With 62 minutes on the clock, Raimundo Florin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 61 minutes into the game, one of Alhuampa:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Angelo Odol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Firmo in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alhuampa's goalkeeper Angelo Odol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Firmo in the 75th minute of play forced Alhuampa's goalkeeper Angelo Odol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Lucas Eleder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Rosario Central's Saturnino Francis got a free kick in the 79th minute.
