Gervasio Neron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rosario Central's Eduardo Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Aguilera in the 16th minute of play. After 18 minutes, Eloy Hug mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rosario Central and the MilTinchi players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rosario Central getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Eloy Hug hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Pedro Christobal sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rosario Central's Eduardo Txindoki didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Aguilera in the 21st minute of play forced Rosario Central's goalkeeper Eduardo Txindoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gervasio Neron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Benito Aguilera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Txindoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Txindoki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Neron in the 33rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Gervasio Neron managed to get in a good position for a shot. MilTinchi's supporters rose to their feet, but Gervasio Neron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Txindoki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Aguilera struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Eduardo Txindoki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MilTinchi. 43 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Neron came free, but Eduardo Txindoki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute of the match Rafael Tano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eduardo Txindoki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 47 minutes, Gervasio Neron made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Rosario Central's Eduardo Txindoki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gervasio Neron to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benito Aguilera got free with Eduardo Txindoki in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eduardo Txindoki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benito Aguilera in the 57th minute. Gervasio Neron's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Txindoki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Iruinea. When MilTinchi's Gervasio Neron, in the 64th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for MilTinchi. With his leg Eduardo Txindoki managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when MilTinchi's Gervasio Neron fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gervasio Neron struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Eduardo Txindoki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MilTinchi. If Gervasio Neron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MilTinchi's Tadeo Fraco suffered a sore thigh after 76 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of MilTinchi booed when Rosario Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Elixio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 minutes of play, MilTinchi's Benito Aguilera made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduardo Txindoki was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Gervasio Neron managed to get in a good position for a shot. MilTinchi's supporters rose to their feet, but Gervasio Neron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MilTinchi's Marcelo Foro got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flavio Firmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Sampaio having to interfere. Marcelo Foro charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelo Foro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcelo Foro hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Firmo in the 97th minute of play forced MilTinchi's goalkeeper Humberto Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MilTinchi's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
