Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute, Nicasio Cebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ezequiel Ibon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hilario Lauro struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Ezequiel Ibon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chinotuerto FC. Hilario Lauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ezequiel Ibon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Bieito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Cerilo in the 22nd minute of the match. Nicasio Cebo scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ezequiel Ibon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ezequiel Ibon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Cebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafino Hernando's late challenge caught a Chinotuerto FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafino Hernando helped the player get up and apologised. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Nicasio Cebo made the kick off in the second half. Ezequiel Ibon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Cebo in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of Chinotuerto FC booed when Cabrera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Hernando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chinotuerto FC's Hilario Lauro got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute Nicasio Cebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Ibon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cabrera's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nicasio Cebo 59 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Janpier in the 62nd minute of play forced Chinotuerto FC's goalkeeper Marcos Bieito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Chinotuerto FC booed when Cabrera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Furman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hilario Lauro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Ezequiel Ibon made a huge save. When Oscar Munio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. After a defensive mix-up in Chinotuerto FC's zone, Augusto Janpier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Bieito came out of the goal and Augusto Janpier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Serafino Hernando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chinotuerto FC's goalkeeper Marcos Bieito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
