David Nafarroa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Benigno Lizer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 15 played minutes Huasán got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Mikolas. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Huasán! In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Since 1913. Teobaldo Pirro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arsenio Franco. 0-1. Eulalio Lidon charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eulalio Lidon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Since 1913 booed when Huasán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Lidon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laureano Euloxu charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Huasán's Vladimiro Mikolas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 36th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Benigno Lizer but with some difficulty. When Americo Rami fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Since 1913's protests and gave Americo Rami a yellow card for diving instead. When Aaron Pacorro came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Since 1913 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Pacorro couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Aaron Pacorro made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play Since 1913's Americo Rami was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Since 1913's Americo Rami got a free kick in the 54th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Since 1913's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Leoncio came free, but Benigno Lizer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teobaldo Pirro kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. A collision led to Since 1913 getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Teobaldo Pirro hit a great ball. Vladimiro Mikolas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute Casimiro Lope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Lizer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Since 1913's Benigno Lizer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Leoncio in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Gogo Tavio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benigno Lizer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Leoncio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benigno Lizer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Leoncio in the 96th minute of the match. The Since 1913 players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Huasán from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
