The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of ChuaveTeam:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Iván De Pineda:s goal. After some careless play in the ChuaveTeam defense, Jonas Valadares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramon Porfirio. The ChuaveTeam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramon Porfirio should have stopped the shot. Jonas Valadares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Julio Su fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ChuaveTeam's protests and gave Julio Su a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes ChuaveTeam got a freekick which was hit by Julio Su. If Jonas Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaston Xabat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Porfirio having to interfere. After 46 minutes of play, Iván De Pineda's Higinio Luar made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramon Porfirio was left in no man's land by his defense there! The ChuaveTeam players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Iván De Pineda were winning 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albano Gumaro made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Leonardo Enmanuel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ChuaveTeam and the Iván De Pineda players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 53 played minutes ChuaveTeam got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Enmanuel. Ramon Porfirio made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Jonas Valadares sent off a good shot on target. 59 minutes into the game, Gaston Xabat recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ramon Porfirio. Gaston Xabat showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. A collision led to Iván De Pineda getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Igor Amato hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaston Xabat kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ramon Porfirio. That made the score 1-6 in the 65 minute of play. Albano Gumaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaston Xabat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramon Porfirio having to make a save. ChuaveTeam's Ramon Porfirio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Luar in the 73rd minute of play. After 78 minutes, Cliff Keyworth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iván De Pineda and the ChuaveTeam players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cliff Keyworth kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Enmanuel in the 81st minute of play forced Iván De Pineda's goalkeeper Igor Cordarin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, ChuaveTeam's Lino Niguel got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Leonardo Enmanuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gaston Xabat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iván De Pineda's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
