In the 19th match minute, Ameghino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Ciano to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Marcos Pacho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bartolo Ciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Alberto Favila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Favila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Ciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ukukus FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 46 minutes, Jacobo Quinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ukukus FC and the Ameghino FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anacleto Luzaide stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game Erubiel Mero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ameghino FC's Sergio Peruanton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcos Pacho charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
