Delmiro Phelipe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Mero in the 4th minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Rivera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Luzaide came free, but Delmiro Phelipe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmiro Phelipe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Luzaide, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rivera FC's goalkeeper Delmiro Phelipe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10thth minute of the game Erubiel Mero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rivera FC's Delmiro Phelipe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute, Severiano Urtsin made a precise shot to the right of Delmiro Phelipe. Rivera FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Abelardo Felo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Favila having to interfere. Rivera FC's Santos Valente got his second yellow card of the match in the 26th minute. The referee ordered Santos Valente off the ground. Anacleto Luzaide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Delmiro Phelipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmiro Phelipe didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ukukus FC's Erubiel Mero shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Delmiro Phelipe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Luzaide in the 44th minute of play. Anacleto Luzaide recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 46 minutes, Gavino Arlo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rivera FC and the Ukukus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abelardo Felo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erubiel Mero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Delmiro Phelipe made a huge save. Anacleto Luzaide charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anacleto Luzaide the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Erubiel Mero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Erubiel Mero came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Ukukus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Mero couldn't finish the play. Filomeno Chuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delmiro Phelipe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anacleto Luzaide in the 93rd minute. Ukukus FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
