But to his dismay, Manuel Fero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Agroservicios Izuzquiza's Alfredo Garaile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Tano in the 9th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose Geofredo in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Efrain Estefan saved FC Segovia from getting behind. Alfredo Garaile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Orain in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Quirce in the 14th minute of play forced Agroservicios Izuzquiza's goalkeeper Alfredo Garaile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Fero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 minutes, Nestor Aznaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agroservicios Izuzquiza and the FC Segovia players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Leonides Tano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Fulgencio Soin kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. FC Segovia played a much better game than Agroservicios Izuzquiza and deserved their victory. The Agroservicios Izuzquiza players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
