In the 48th minute, Alberto Silvino fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Saturnino Filipo, passed just outside the right post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Honorio Aimar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes Bastadebufoneria FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eriberto Barros who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Eriberto Barros got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hugo Abajas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 56 minutes into the match, Bastadebufoneria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Aimar came free, but Hugo Abajas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Gogo Ederono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Rivas in the 64th minute of play forced Giuseppe Garibaldi's goalkeeper Saturnino Filipo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Honorio Aimar came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Giuseppe Garibaldi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorio Aimar couldn't finish the play. Saturnino Filipo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casimiro Rayman's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Alberto Silvino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bastadebufoneria FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Giuseppe Garibaldi the free kick. After 78 played minutes Bastadebufoneria FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Silvino. Alberto Silvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute.
