The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Neron was the one to do the kick off. Central Córdoba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Angelino Matteo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Raimundo Marz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silvio Egoitz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 57 minute of play. A. Central Córdoba's Angelino Matteo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basilio Umea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Sebastian Neron managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Central Córdoba's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Neron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Umea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C. A. Central Córdoba walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
