When Jose Dalmau fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sijes's protests and gave Jose Dalmau a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sijes getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Jose Dalmau hit a great ball. Conrado Izel struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Armando Peruxu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballester FC. Armando Peruxu was a little too slow when Conrado Izel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. When Celso Napier came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Sijes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Napier couldn't finish the play. If Aristides Orlondon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 14 minutes, Celso Napier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sijes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Napier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armando Peruxu came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Ballester FC's Aldo Cordarell. But to his dismay, Aldo Cordarell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 22nd minute, Ballester FC's Julian Dodorol dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Ballester FC's Conrado Izel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Armando Peruxu. That made the score 4-0 after 25 minutes of play. Sijes's Baldomiro Uxio suffered a concussion after 28 minutes and had to leave the field. Christian Estefan's late challenge caught a Sijes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Estefan helped the player get up and apologised. Aldo Cordarell who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Armando Peruxu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Sijes's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Izel came free, but Armando Peruxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Cordarell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Armando Peruxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conrado Izel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aldo Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldo Cordarell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Peruxu having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Apolo Urtsua during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The supporters of Sijes booed when Ballester FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Cordarell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sijes's Armando Peruxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Cordarell in the 58th minute of play. Aldo Cordarell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Armando Peruxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sijes's Armando Peruxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Izel in the 65th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Aristides Orlondon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sijes's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Orlondon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Montxo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Cordarell in the 74th minute of play forced Sijes's goalkeeper Armando Peruxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado Izel struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Armando Peruxu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballester FC. After a defensive mix-up in Sijes's zone, Conrado Izel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Peruxu came out of the goal and Conrado Izel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aldo Cordarell in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Peruxu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aristides Orlondons short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Desiderio Montxo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ballester FC's Desiderio Montxo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Ballester FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Boni in the 83rd minute of play forced Sijes's goalkeeper Armando Peruxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 minutes of play, Ballester FC's Aldo Cordarell made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Peruxu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aldo Cordarell struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Armando Peruxu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballester FC. In the 94th minute Tomas Boni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Peruxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conrado Izel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Ballester FC's Desiderio Montxo got control of the ball when Aristides Orlondon tried to sneak it across the goal line.
