Ramiro Fix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gogo Gartzen came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Charrua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gogo Gartzen couldn't finish the play. Jacinto Pess short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Mario Napier to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 10 minutes into the game, Charrua's Leonides Txartiko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lorenzo Cuarto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, PAMPAS FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Lleir came free, but Lorenzo Cuarto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonides Txartiko took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lorenzo Cuarto. Lorenzo Cuarto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jaime Lleir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Lorenzo Cuarto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Charrua's Mario Napier got control of the ball when Primitivo Regis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romeo Atarrabi during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th match minute, PAMPAS FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Atarrabi to maneuver through the defense. When Leonides Txartiko came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Charrua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Txartiko couldn't finish the play. Jaime Lleir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute of the match Omar Abella sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lorenzo Cuarto skillfully saved the ball. PAMPAS FUTBOL CLUB's Lorenzo Cuarto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Txartiko in the 46th minute of play.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonides Txartiko was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonides Txartiko in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lorenzo Cuarto saved PAMPAS FUTBOL CLUB from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in PAMPAS FUTBOL CLUB's zone, Jaime Lleir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Cuarto came out of the goal and Jaime Lleir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of PAMPAS FUTBOL CLUB booed when Charrua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Elazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Jaime Lleir left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Charrua fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Leonides Txartiko's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Lorenzo Cuarto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Leonides Txartiko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramiro Fix's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mario Napier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. When Jacinto Pes came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the PAMPAS FUTBOL CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Pes couldn't finish the play. Jaime Lleir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Lorenzo Cuarto made a huge save. After 79 played minutes PAMPAS FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Martxot. 83 minutes into the match, Jaime Lleir notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of PAMPAS FUTBOL CLUB's Lorenzo Cuarto. Lorenzo Cuarto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jaime Lleir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Cuarto having to interfere. Leonides Txartiko had several of the PAMPAS FUTBOL CLUB's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 93 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Lorenzo Cuarto as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jaime Lleir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Lorenzo Cuarto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Charrua could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PAMPAS FUTBOL CLUB throughout the match.
