In the 7th minute, Tomas Boni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Jerold was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 10 played minutes Ballester FC got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Urtsua. In the 13th minute Tomas Boni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Jerold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Desiderio Montxo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Freddy Dominic in the 21st minute. In the 24th match minute, Juan Jose Coria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fox Fox to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Danilo Abeita in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Juan Jose Coria FC's Gaston Mingo. In the 33rd minute, Tomas Boni made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Jerold. Juan Jose Coria FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 39th match minute, Juan Jose Coria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Ihazintu to maneuver through the defense. Jacobo Jerold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Izel in the 42nd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Ballester FC's Conrado Izel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacobo Jerold. Jacobo Jerold yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. 54 minutes into the match, Juan Jose Coria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Urtsua came free, but Jacobo Jerold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobo Jerold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Izel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacobo Jerold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Boni in the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Tomas Boni dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jacobo Jerold, 0-4. Christian Estefan made in the 65th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Aldo Cordarell immediately put the ball in play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Boni got free with Jacobo Jerold in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Ballester FC booed when Juan Jose Coria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Dominic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobo Jerold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Dodorol, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Juan Jose Coria FC's Fox Fox got a free kick in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Izel in the 82nd minute of play forced Juan Jose Coria FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Jerold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Jose Coria FC's Jacobo Jerold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Boni in the 83rd minute of play. Adolfo Jon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Desiderio Montxo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddy Dominic's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Freddy Dominic had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Desiderio Montxo. Ballester FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Freddy Dominic was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Desiderio Montxo came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Juan Jose Coria FC's Freddy Dominic. But to his dismay, Freddy Dominic quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Ballester FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
