One of La Academia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Strobel FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 33 minutes, Strobel FC's Omar Quinito got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Generoso Colon. If Andres Mendiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Melchor Su in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by La Academia's Raimundo Hernandez. In the 41st match minute, La Academia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Hernandez to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Raimundo Hernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Academia's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Hernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonel Castulo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agustin Lucian hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raimundo Hernandez was the one to do the kick off. Hermengildo Suero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Castulo having to interfere. Andres Mendiko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Leonel Castulo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Cristo Harri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Generoso Colon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Belarmo scored 4-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Generoso Colon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Generoso Colon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Harri in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Isaias Nikola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raimundo Hernandez's late challenge caught a Strobel FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raimundo Hernandez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, Raimundo Hernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Belarmo might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Generoso Colon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julio Belarmo ran back to his position shaking his head. La Academia's Raimundo Hernandez managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Agustin Lucian in the 79 minute of the game. 83 minutes into the game, Strobel FC's Cristo Harri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Generoso Colon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Strobel FC's Leonel Castulo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Strobel FC from getting a goal against them. Generoso Colon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristo Harri's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Agustin Lucian made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by La Academia's Raimundo Hernandez.
