In the 17th minute Jeronimo Dolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Napier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Peruxu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonides Txartiko in the 29th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Benedicto Rufo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sijes's Armando Peruxu. After a defensive mix-up in Sijes's zone, Leonides Txartiko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Peruxu came out of the goal and Leonides Txartiko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celso Napier to strike the kick off in the second half. Baldomiro Uxio kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Leonides Txartiko sped through Sijes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armando Peruxu. Celso Napier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Sabin in the 79th minute of play forced Sijes's goalkeeper Armando Peruxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Txartiko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charrua's Mario Napier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Charrua from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonides Txartiko during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Charrua booed when Sijes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Dayam didn't get a good kick on the ball.
