Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Octavio Selmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saints futbal club's supporters rose to their feet, but Octavio Selmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Indar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 6 minutes into the match, Suripugio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Jokin came free, but Rodrigo Indar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th match minute, Suripugio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Tono to maneuver through the defense. Saints futbal club's Siro Cristofor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Mundo in the 9th minute of play. Orlando Luar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Suripugio FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Indar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Israel Jokin. Octavio Selmo struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Rodrigo Indar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saints futbal club. If Hipolito Merexildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rodrigo Indar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Selmo in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Paolo Mundo made a precise shot to the right of Siro Cristofor. Saints futbal club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Siro Cristofor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Telesforo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Israel Jokin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Israel Jokin came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Saints futbal club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Israel Jokin couldn't finish the play. After the first half Suripugio FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paolo Mundo was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paolo Mundo got free with Siro Cristofor in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Octavio Selmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Rodrigo Indar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Octavio Selmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Esteve Isadore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Indar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 66 minutes into the game, Saints futbal club's Octavio Selmo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Indar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 69 played minutes Saints futbal club got a freekick which was hit by Israel Jokin. In the 74th minute, Suripugio FC's Paolo Mundo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Octavio Selmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saints futbal club's supporters rose to their feet, but Octavio Selmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Indar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Suripugio FC booed when Saints futbal club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Berasko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Israel Jokin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
