Spectators: 7258 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. When Benedicto Rufo came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Charrua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Rufo couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ballester FC's Tomas Boni slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mario Napier. That made the score 1-1 after 13 minutes of play. Apolo Urtsua kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Charrua's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Txilar came free, but Mario Napier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Desiderio Montxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Txartiko in the 22nd minute of play. In the 28th minute of the game, Ballester FC got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Charrua's Mario Napier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Txilar in the 33rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cosme Txilar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mario Napier. That made the score 3-1 in the 35 minute of play. Mario Napier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Boni in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Izel in the 42nd minute of play forced Charrua's goalkeeper Mario Napier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aldo Cordarell made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Nicanor Gelmiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Charrua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ballester FC the free kick. Aldo Cordarell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Napier having to interfere. After having played for 60 minutes, Gogo Gartzen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Charrua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gogo Gartzen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Julian Dodorol made a precise shot to the right of Mario Napier. Charrua's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 69th minute Aldo Cordarell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Napier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charrua's Mario Napier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Boni in the 70th minute of play. Mario Napier came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ballester FC's Christian Estefan. But to his dismay, Christian Estefan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Mario Napier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Cordarell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustaquio Sabin kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th match minute, Ballester FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Boni to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Lleir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Desiderio Montxo made a huge save.
