Spectators: 7285 (Terracing: 5466, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) Esperanza FC's Alejandro Cerilo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Macantes LP getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Filomeno Tonio hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Macantes LP's Bernabe Pio got a free kick in the 5th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Leo Lordi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tadeo Iraido. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Leo Lordi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Iraido having to interfere. When Esperanza FC's Leo Lordi in 19 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Tadeo Iraido guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alejandro Cerilo in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadeo Iraido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alejandro Cerilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Iraido having to interfere. Leo Lordi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leo Lordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Macantes LP's goalkeeper Tadeo Iraido, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alejandro Cerilo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tadeo Iraido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Cerilo in the 37th minute of play. Aurelio Hug struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Tadeo Iraido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esperanza FC. Tadeo Iraido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Cerilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 48 in the game by Leo Lordi from a close distance when the talented Tadeo Iraido managed to make a qualified save. Macantes LP's players were relieved.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonas Senio made a kick off. Adolfo Oriche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Tadeo Iraido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodosio Guerau's late challenge caught a Esperanza FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodosio Guerau helped the player get up and apologised. After 58 played minutes Macantes LP got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Guerau. After a defensive mix-up in Macantes LP's zone, Leo Lordi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Iraido came out of the goal and Leo Lordi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Alejandro Cerilo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esperanza FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Cerilo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeo Iraido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Lordi in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadeo Iraido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tadeo Iraido came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Esperanza FC's Alejandro Cerilo. But to his dismay, Alejandro Cerilo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The supporters of Esperanza FC booed when Macantes LP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Pio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Cerilo in the 72nd minute of play forced Macantes LP's goalkeeper Tadeo Iraido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Alejandro Cerilo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadeo Iraido. Macantes LP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alejandro Cerilo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Leo Lordi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Tadeo Iraido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute Alejandro Cerilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Iraido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Lordi might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeo Iraido. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leo Lordi ran back to his position shaking his head. Alejandro Cerilo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadeo Iraido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. When Leo Lordi came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Esperanza FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Lordi couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, Alejandro Cerilo notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Macantes LP's Tadeo Iraido. Tadeo Iraido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Esperanza FC had played much better football throughout.
