The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mateo Haitz took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Godofredo Maties. Godofredo Maties dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Alejandro Cerilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Polentzi having to interfere. Alejandro Cerilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jimeno Raulo fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gregorio's protests and gave Jimeno Raulo a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Gregorio got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Raulo. When Esperanza FC's Alejandro Cerilo in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gregorio's goalie prevented a goal. Leo Lordi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 21st playminute. The crowd rose to their feet as Alejandro Cerilo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Constantino Polentzi. That made the score 2-1 in the 25 minute of play. In the 30th minute, Alejandro Cerilo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Constantino Polentzi. The goal made the score 3-1. Leo Lordi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Polentzi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Cerilo in the 38th minute of play forced Gregorio's goalkeeper Constantino Polentzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Esperanza FC's Cristo Perutxo got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Agustin Quico missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 44 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Godofredo Maties right hand side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alejandro Cerilo to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gregorio's goalkeeper Constantino Polentzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leo Lordi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Polentzi having to interfere. Constantino Polentzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alejandro Cerilo's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Godofredo Maties made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Tibalt in the 67th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejandro Cerilo in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Constantino Polentzi saved Gregorio from getting behind. Angelo Frasco hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Gregorio's Agustin Quico broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Constantino Polentzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Lordi in the 73rd minute of the match. Leo Lordi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Polentzi having to interfere. Leo Lordi took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Constantino Polentzi. Constantino Polentzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Angelo Frasco hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateo Haitz got free with Godofredo Maties in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 83 minutes into the game, Alejandro Cerilo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Constantino Polentzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Constantino Polentzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Lordi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mateo Haitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Maties having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Esperanza FC's Angelo Frasco got a free kick in the 95th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Esperanza FC's goalkeeper Godofredo Maties had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateo Haitz. Esperanza FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
