Spectators: 7259 (Terracing: 5446, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alejandro Cerilo took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Alejandro Cerilo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godfredo Mateo was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. When Leo Lordi, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 8 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Godfredo Mateo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Leo Lordi came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Esperanza FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Lordi couldn't finish the play. If Alejandro Cerilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 16 played minutes Euscadi got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Seber. In the 21stth minute of the game Alejandro Cerilo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Euscadi's Godfredo Mateo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Robustiano Beat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Euscadi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esperanza FC the free kick. In the 24th minute, Robustiano Beat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edelmiro Seber struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Godofredo Maties didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Euscadi. Esperanza FC's Godofredo Maties played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Seber in the 29th minute of play. Leo Lordi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Godfredo Mateo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 33 played minutes Euscadi got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Chumo. Angelo Frasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Leo Lordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arsenio Gaizkine stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Godfredo Mateo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Cerilo in the 54th minute of the match. Feliberto Martinez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leo Lordi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Mateo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Martinez in the 61st minute of play forced Euscadi's goalkeeper Godfredo Mateo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Edelmiro Seber made a precise shot to the right of Godofredo Maties. Esperanza FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Leo Lordi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Godfredo Mateo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Godfredo Mateo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Cerilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Godfredo Mateo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leo Lordi went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Godfredo Mateo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Martinez, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Atilano Gartxot kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute of the match Raimundo Barto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Godfredo Mateo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Godfredo Mateo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Lordi in the 90th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Esperanza FC were the better team. Esperanza FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
