Spectators: 7365 (Terracing: 5525, Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ciro Truylos kicked off to start the match. Fidel Steven scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Godofredo Maties, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Niceto Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Cerilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leo Lordi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Cordeiro having to interfere. If Ciro Truylos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejandro Cerilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Niceto Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Arsenal Football Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leo Lordi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gervasio Joanes kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Esperanza FC's Leo Lordi got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alejandro Cerilo in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niceto Cordeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alejandro Cerilo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Fidel Steven got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arsenal Football Club's goalkeeper Niceto Cordeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Esperanza FC's Alejandro Cerilo got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Angelo Frasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esperanza FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Frasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niceto Cordeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 65 minutes, Jonathan Santxol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arsenal Football Club and the Esperanza FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes Arsenal Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Santxol. The Esperanza FC fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Esperanza FC's Alejandro Cerilo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fidel Steven in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godofredo Maties saved Esperanza FC from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, Esperanza FC's Alejandro Cerilo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niceto Cordeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Niceto Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Lordi, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When Esperanza FC's Leo Lordi in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Niceto Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Cerilo in the 95th minute of play. Gervasio Joanes lost his temper 96 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 98th minute there was a penalty for Esperanza FC. Raimundo Barto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Niceto Cordeiro. 3-1. Esperanza FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Arsenal Football Club for a fine match.
