Spectators: 6706 (Terracing: 5032, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 13) When Amador Louis came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Laprida fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amador Louis couldn't finish the play. After 6 played minutes Tangalanga FC got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Cordarrell. Gaudencio Magdaleno kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Amador Louis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laprida fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Teodoro Lucero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Camerino having to interfere. Leandro Lore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Su having to interfere. Gaspar Su showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Rutenio, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Leandro Lore might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaspar Su. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leandro Lore ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 27 minutes, Rafael Rutenio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tangalanga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Rutenio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Amador Louis notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Tangalanga FC's Victorino Camerino. Victorino Camerino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute, Tangalanga FC's Rafael Rutenio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gaspar Su. Gaspar Su yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Teodoro Lucero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Victorino Camerino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tangalanga FC's goalkeeper Victorino Camerino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Amador Louis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Laprida were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Rutenio in the 55th minute of play forced Laprida's goalkeeper Gaspar Su to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruperto Blai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Victorino Camerino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melchor Ariando during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st match minute, Tangalanga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melchor Ariando to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Teodoro Lucero took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Victorino Camerino to make any attempt to save it. Tangalanga FC's Leandro Lore got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaspar Su didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leandro Lore went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Leandro Lore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Su having to interfere. Nicasio Felipo's late challenge caught a Tangalanga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicasio Felipo helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes Laprida got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Felipo. Gaspar Su made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Lore in the 83rd minute of play. Rafael Rutenio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Su having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Leandro Lore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Amador Louis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Su made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Rutenio in the 93rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rafael Rutenio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaspar Su was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The Laprida supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Laprida would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
