Elvio Buinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Txurio having to interfere. Aquiles Gil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gándara's Melquiades Txurio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Gándara from getting a goal against them. In the 20thth minute of the game Elvio Buinton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gándara's Melquiades Txurio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gogo Gaitano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amado Uxio lost his temper 23 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 22 minutes into the game, one of Gándara:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Melquiades Txurio, was totally fooled by Villa Mercedes Unido's Evaristo Victoro, who 25 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Aquiles Gil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Alfonso Corderro came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Gándara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Corderro couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the game, Villa Mercedes Unido's Elvio Buinton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melquiades Txurio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 37th minute, Elvio Buinton fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Thanks to some nice moves Gogo Gaitano could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Melquiades Txurio however easily saved by the left post. Villa Mercedes Unido's Gogo Gaitano got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elvio Buinton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Melquiades Txurio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Gándara's Melquiades Txurio got control of the ball when Gogo Gaitano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elvio Buinton to make the kick off. Villa Mercedes Unido's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Evaristo Victoro in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Aquiles Gil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gándara's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquiles Gil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uriel Matei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gándara's Melquiades Txurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Buinton in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Gogo Gaitano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Melquiades Txurio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aquiles Gil struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Uriel Matei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gándara. If Gogo Gaitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th match minute, Villa Mercedes Unido was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Buinton to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Villa Mercedes Unido players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
