Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benito Odilon started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Ferrocarril Oeste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Munio to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Atené getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Benicio Hondo hit a great ball. Ignacio Araoz struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Valentin Mendez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferrocarril Oeste. After a defensive mix-up in Ferrocarril Oeste's zone, Benito Odilon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Fidencio came out of the goal and Benito Odilon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Sebastian Claus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atené's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Claus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Fidencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute, Ignacio Araoz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valentin Mendez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 22 minutes, Silvano Francesco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferrocarril Oeste and the Atené players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ferrocarril Oeste's Ignacio Araoz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 30th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to Ferrocarril Oeste getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Florentino Gaitano hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Dario Ibar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Atené defense, Ignacio Araoz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valentin Mendez. The Atené fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valentin Mendez should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd minute Dario Ibar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Mendez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Fidencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Odilon, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute of the match Prospero Eskuin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anselmo Fidencio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ignacio Araoz to make the kick off. Ferrocarril Oeste's Ignacio Araoz got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Dario Ibar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferrocarril Oeste's supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Ibar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Mendez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 67 minutes, Danilo Mel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atené and the Ferrocarril Oeste players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Danilo Mel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentin Mendez came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Ferrocarril Oeste's Ignacio Araoz. But to his dismay, Ignacio Araoz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 76thth minute of the game Ignacio Araoz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atené's Valentin Mendez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valentin Mendez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Araoz in the 79th minute of the match. Valentin Mendez came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Ferrocarril Oeste's Ignacio Araoz. But to his dismay, Ignacio Araoz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 84th minute, Ladislao Benet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute of the match Candido Dayam shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anselmo Fidencio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Valentin Mendez came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Ferrocarril Oeste's Ignacio Araoz. But to his dismay, Ignacio Araoz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Dario Ibar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Mendez having to interfere. Ferrocarril Oeste's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
