Paulino Joey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Petrigai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Mateo in the 21st minute of play forced Atletico granada's goalkeeper Dionisio Licerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Cañada F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Mateo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Jorrin to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Atletico granada's Jaime Petrigai made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulino Joey was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice moves Sergio Mateo could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Dionisio Licerio however easily saved by the left post. In the 61st minute of the match, Sergio Mateo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dionisio Licerio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Geronimo Berdoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Joey having to interfere. Martin Nafarroa hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. If Geronimo Berdoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sergio Mateo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Jaime Petrigai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martin Nafarroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the game, Marco Jorrin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dionisio Licerio. Marco Jorrin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Sergio Mateo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Sergio Mateos short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Dionisio Licerio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
