La Banda del Pelado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 44 minutes into the game, Benicio Silvino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. sporting Gualeyo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Banda del Pelado the free kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cirilo Rocendo made a kick off. In the 59th minute, Anselmo Olo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 60 minutes, Haroldo Ponciano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Banda del Pelado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Ponciano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of sporting Gualeyo booed when La Banda del Pelado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position.
