The audience thought a goal was coming when Eriberto Iban got free with Justino Rojelio in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Riber y su mancha getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Armando Iliana hit a great ball. Riber y su mancha's Clemente Ostots managed to work through Teflon y Plastisol FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Clemente Ostots dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clemente Ostots in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Generoso Polentzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 46 minutes, Marco Argoitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Teflon y Plastisol FC and the Riber y su mancha players grew even worse after the yellow card. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Justino Rojelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Iban in the 73rd minute of play. After 79 played minutes Teflon y Plastisol FC got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Romelio. After some careless play in the Riber y su mancha defense, Marco Argoitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justino Rojelio. The Riber y su mancha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justino Rojelio should have stopped the shot. Clemente Ostots could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Generoso Polentzi made a huge save. After 92 minutes of play Teflon y Plastisol FC's Marco Argoitz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes into the game, Victorino Romelio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Teflon y Plastisol FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Riber y su mancha the free kick.
