Agustín Marchesani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Mendiko in the 27th minute of play. Brandsen's Celestino Marques got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agustín Marchesani had great luck who in the 37thth minute grab hold of the ball when Celestino Marques from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Brandsen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aquiles Sadurni in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Arnulfo Galeno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The deportivo caracol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Agustin Mendiko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Brandsen's Higinio Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Riquelme in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, deportivo caracol's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Marques came free, but Agustín Marchesani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hernan Evarado in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Higinio Pello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Celestino Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. deportivo caracol's Agustín Marchesani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Gutierrez in the 67th minute of play. After 68 played minutes deportivo caracol got a freekick which was hit by Mădălin Poenaru. Agustin Mendiko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Agustín Marchesani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute Agustin Mendiko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustín Marchesani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind deportivo caracol's goalkeeper Agustín Marchesani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mădălin Poenaru hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Agustín Marchesani came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Brandsen's Celestino Marques. But to his dismay, Celestino Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Rigoberto Gutierrez kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When Brandsen's Agustin Mendiko in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye deportivo caracol's goalie prevented a goal. Agustín Marchesani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celestino Marques went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Brandsen's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
