An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Iigo in the 5th minute of play forced Agote FC's goalkeeper Remigio Emmanuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 minutes, Mario Mero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agote FC and the Leonardo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mario Mero hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Genaro Regis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jeremias Umea struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Remigio Emmanuel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leonardo. In the 15th match minute, Leonardo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Dabi to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Guillermo Sadurni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Natalio Virila was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Jeremias Umea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leonardo's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Umea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigio Emmanuel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guillermo Sadurni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Virila having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albino Berriotxoa to strike the kick off in the second half. When Jeremias Umea came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Leonardo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Umea couldn't finish the play. The score was now 0-1. Natalio Virila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Berriotxoa in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Umea in the 88th minute of play forced Agote FC's goalkeeper Remigio Emmanuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 minutes of play, Leonardo's Jeronimo Elorri made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remigio Emmanuel was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Sadurni got free with Natalio Virila in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guillermo Sadurni might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Natalio Virila. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guillermo Sadurni ran back to his position shaking his head. Guillermo Sadurni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Agote FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
