Constantino Gartzea might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emilio Bartolome. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Constantino Gartzea ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Micael during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 played minutes CARDALES FC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Micael. When Carmelo Valente came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the CADU de Zarate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmelo Valente couldn't finish the play. Emilio Bartolome was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nereo Hondo. Artemio Veremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Prejun having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Emilio Bartolome came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by CADU de Zarate's Constantino Gartzea. But to his dismay, Constantino Gartzea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carmelo Valente in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Bartolome prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Veremundo in the 68th minute of play forced CADU de Zarate's goalkeeper Ovidio Prejun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Constantino Gartzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in CARDALES FC's zone, Constantino Gartzea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Bartolome came out of the goal and Constantino Gartzea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Constantino Gartzea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilio Bartolome was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Leonel Balendin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the CADU de Zarate players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
