Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) USURIAGA FC's Justo Cresitobalo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alfredo Tallia kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mario Emenon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Gilberto Abancens put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mario Emenon. After a defensive mix-up in USURIAGA FC's zone, Gilberto Abancens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Emenon came out of the goal and Gilberto Abancens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, Esteban Bemabe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Santiago Bertran from long distance, 22 minutes into the match, got Ian Kilstedt's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Zurditos FC's Francisco Abeitia got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Ezequiel Ciceron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Mario Emenon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elpidio Dei got his second yellow card in the match during the 28th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 29 played minutes USURIAGA FC got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Dei. In the 30th minute of the match Fikret Seyfeddin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mario Emenon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zurditos FC's Gerardo Furman got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Gilberto Abancens sped through USURIAGA FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mario Emenon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Ciceron in the 41st minute of play forced USURIAGA FC's goalkeeper Mario Emenon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Gilberto Abancens sped through USURIAGA FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mario Emenon. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Abancens to strike the kick off in the second half. Gilberto Abancens received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mario Emenon came out and tried to block the shot, but Gilberto Abancens slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 52nd minute. Zurditos FC's Ezequiel Ciceron got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute Gilberto Abancens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Emenon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Ezequiel Ciceron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ezequiel Cicerons short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Mario Emenon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Ezequiel Ciceron came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Zurditos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Ciceron couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in USURIAGA FC's zone, Gilberto Abancens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Emenon came out of the goal and Gilberto Abancens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. USURIAGA FC's Carmelo Bastiaro got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Zurditos FC's Gilberto Abancens in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye USURIAGA FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 83rd minute, Justo Cresitobalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel Ciceron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Emenon having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Gilberto Abancens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zurditos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Abancens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Emenon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isidro Ted's late challenge caught a Zurditos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidro Ted helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, USURIAGA FC's Isidro Ted got a free kick in the 89th minute. Ezequiel Ciceron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Abancens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mario Emenon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. After a rather tough play, USURIAGA FC's Natalio Galeno got a free kick in the 97th minute. 98 minutes into the match, Zurditos FC's Fikret Seyfeddin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
