In the 26thth minute of the game Anselmo Gotzon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jagüel FC's Celedonio Bernebe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Artemio Unai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 48th minute, Artemio Unai made a precise shot to the right of Celedonio Bernebe. Jagüel FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Clodoveo Padro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruno Chumo scored 2-4 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clodoveo Padro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Arenal's zone, Bruno Chumo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clodoveo Padro came out of the goal and Bruno Chumo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
