Wilfredo Jatsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Norino having to interfere. Epifanio Seber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Vicente Norino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 15 minutes, Epifanio Seber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Veritas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Epifanio Seber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Epifanio Seber had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vicente Norino. Don Perno FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Epifanio Seber was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 26th minute Wilfredo Jatsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Norino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Don Perno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Jatsu came free, but Vicente Norino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Veritas's Wilfredo Jatsu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vicente Norino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vicente Norino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Jatsu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hilario Vergaray was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emilio Urtungo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 47 minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luciano Herrera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emilio Urtungo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hilario Vergaray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Herrera in the 56th minute of play. When Epifanio Seber came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Veritas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanio Seber couldn't finish the play. If Emilio Urtungo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aquilino Chesus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hilario Vergaray read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Don Perno FC got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Indar. Aquilino Chesus charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aquilino Chesus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Veritas booed when Don Perno FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Chesus didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Veritas's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Herrera came free, but Hilario Vergaray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hilario Vergaray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Urtungo in the 82nd minute of play. Veritas's Epifanio Seber got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Veritas defense, Luciano Herrera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hilario Vergaray. The Veritas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hilario Vergaray should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Luciano Herrera put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Hilario Vergaray. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilfredo Jatsu got free with Vicente Norino in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Don Perno FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Veritas for a fine match.
