After a rather tough play, LUQUERO's Amancio Velasco got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute, Guillermo Illan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th match minute, Magdalena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Demario to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Orlando Duardo managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when LUQUERO's Teodoro Herena fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 21 minutes into the game, Julio Celio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Magdalena's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LUQUERO the free kick. After a rather tough play, Magdalena's Guillermo Illan got a free kick in the 24th minute. Amancio Velasco hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. A collision led to LUQUERO getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Patricio Hodei hit a great ball. Artemio Demario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Garin having to interfere. Placido Beltza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Duardo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, LUQUERO's Amancio Velasco got a free kick in the 41st minute. Primitivo Garin came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Magdalena's Artemio Demario. But to his dismay, Artemio Demario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodoro Herena was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Magdalena's Guillermo Illan got a free kick in the 55th minute. Artemio Demario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in LUQUERO's zone, Artemio Demario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Primitivo Garin came out of the goal and Artemio Demario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artemio Demario scored 0-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Primitivo Garin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 65 minutes into the match, LUQUERO's goalkeeper Primitivo Garin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artemio Demario. Leopoldo Orlo kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. LUQUERO's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Julio Celio scored to the left of an out of position Primitivo Garin, making the score, 0-3. In the 77th minute Teodoro Herena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Duardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Placido Beltza kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind LUQUERO's goalkeeper Primitivo Garin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Guillermo Illan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. A collision led to Magdalena getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Guillermo Illan hit a great ball. Magdalena's Artemio Demario got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 90 minutes, Artemio Demario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magdalena and the LUQUERO players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Magdalena's Artemio Demario got a free kick in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Quilo in the 92nd minute of play forced LUQUERO's goalkeeper Primitivo Garin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Artemio Demario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Celio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Primitivo Garin having to make a save.
