Artemio Unai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Hilario Vergaray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Paulo Porfirio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Arenal's goalkeeper Clodoveo Padro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Epifanio Seber. Teofilo Oliverios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Epifanio Seber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Gotzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Vergaray having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Arenal's zone, Epifanio Seber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clodoveo Padro came out of the goal and Epifanio Seber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute Artemio Unai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veritas's Hilario Vergaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Unai in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artemio Unai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Anastasio Oroitz made a precise shot to the right of Clodoveo Padro. Arenal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When Arenal's Artemio Unai in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Veritas's goalie prevented a goal. In the 61st minute, Wilfredo Jatsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Arenal getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Artemio Unai hit a great ball. After 67 played minutes Veritas got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Oroitz. When Epifanio Seber came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Veritas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanio Seber couldn't finish the play. In the 75th match minute, Veritas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Seber to maneuver through the defense. After 78 minutes of play, Veritas's Epifanio Seber made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clodoveo Padro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hilario Vergaray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Unai in the 82nd minute of the match. Anselmo Gotzon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Hilario Vergaray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aquilino Florinio hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Epifanio Seber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arenal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
