Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Iker Ugutz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Flor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Diego Flor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Petri in the 76th minute of the match. Iker Ugutz scored 6-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Flor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Diego Flor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Oso in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Iker Ugutz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Flor was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0.
