The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Justino Saturnin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Nardo having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, ChichoVermu's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Cesario came free, but Manuel Goi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillermo Nardo made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Octavio Rayman sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Gladiadores's Camilo Lain got a free kick in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gladiadores's zone, Octavio Rayman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillermo Nardo came out of the goal and Octavio Rayman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Octavio Rayman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Guillermo Nardo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gladiadores's zone, Octavio Rayman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillermo Nardo came out of the goal and Octavio Rayman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Octavio Rayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Gladiadores's goalkeeper Guillermo Nardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Octavio Rayman. If Pastor Rutenio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, ChichoVermu's Guillermo Nardo threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benito Norino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Guillermo Nardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Saturnin, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. ChichoVermu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Justino Saturnin in the 40th minute. Godofredo Endira hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Justino Saturnin to make the kick off. Arturo Polentzi kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Octavio Rayman took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guillermo Nardo. Guillermo Nardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 58th minute, Octavio Rayman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ChichoVermu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. ChichoVermu's Justino Saturnin got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gladiadores's Guillermo Nardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Saturnin in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Gladiadores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Errando to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Gladiadores's Albano Cesario got a free kick in the 67th minute. Venancio Benat kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Gladiadores defense, Octavio Rayman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guillermo Nardo. The Gladiadores fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guillermo Nardo should have stopped the shot. After having played for 77 minutes, Justino Saturnin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ChichoVermu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justino Saturnin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute, Octavio Rayman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guillermo Nardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Octavio Rayman charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Octavio Rayman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Octavio Rayman kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Aquiles Marin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ChichoVermu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gladiadores the free kick. Aquiles Marin hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Dorio in the 86th minute of play forced ChichoVermu's goalkeeper Manuel Goi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albano Cesario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Manuel Goi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guillermo Nardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Rutenio in the 91st minute of play. ChichoVermu walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
