Arturo Oxarra was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 19th match minute, Gladiadores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Dorio to maneuver through the defense. Albano Cesario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Elija having to interfere. Placido Jakobe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albano Elija having to make a save. Albano Elija took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Dorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Coliqueo FC booed when Gladiadores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Polentzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The referee ignored Gladiadores's protests and gave Adolfo Errando a yellow card for diving instead. Camilo Lain hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Coliqueo FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
