When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Aquilino Oso sped through Club Atlético Talleres's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arsenio Gaitano. In the 25th minute, Iker Ugutz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Justo Balesio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arsenio Gaitano had in the 92ndth minute some difficulties stopping Emiliano Petri's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.
