The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicanor Stanislao got free with Arsenio Gaitano in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute, Chacarita FC's Eriberto Vito ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arsenio Gaitano.
