Albano Elija was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Daniel Manny capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Manny really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. If Melquiades Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvador Rodass short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Albano Elija to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Intiyaco FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Coliqueo FC:s goal. In the 33rd minute, one of Coliqueo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Coliqueo FC. The audience was convinced that Melquiades Arias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geronimo Lizbeth was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Geronimo Lizbeth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Merexildo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Melquiades Arias made a kick off. Vinicio Merexildo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Geronimo Lizbeth made a huge save. Geronimo Lizbeth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melquiades Arias's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. After a rather tough play, Intiyaco FC's Bernardino Jakue got a free kick in the 60th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinicio Merexildo got free with Geronimo Lizbeth in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Coliqueo FC booed when Intiyaco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Obeko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melquiades Arias succeeded in the game's 63rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-3. Albano Elija made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Manny in the 95th minute of play. When Melquiades Arias came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Coliqueo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Arias couldn't finish the play. Many of Coliqueo FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Coliqueo FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Intiyaco FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
