Melquiades Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Coliqueo FC's Albano Elija played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Reyes in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Coliqueo FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Vladimiro Aureo hit a great ball. Wilfredo Reyes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinicio Merexildo got free with Mariano Mundo in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albano Elija made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Bitxintxo in the 44th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cecilio Bitxintxo to make the kick off. If Melquiades Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th match minute, Coliqueo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Lonzo to maneuver through the defense. Albano Elija showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Bitxintxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Mariano Mundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Merexildo in the 80th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melquiades Arias in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariano Mundo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to FC Barcelona getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Ernesto Tohias hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Coliqueo FC's Joel Lonzo got a free kick in the 91st minute.
