In the 18thth minute of the game Bonifacio Aurken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgrano's Pablo Orland was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Armando Columbo was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Silverio Goito capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Silverio Goito really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The Belgrano players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
